DRIVING DIRECTIONS

FROM AUSTIN

1. At Austin, take the State Highway 290 exit East to Houston/Brenham.
2. You will travel through several small towns, one of which is Giddings. Proceed on to Brenham.
3. As you enter the outskirts of Brenham, you will approach a bypass exit ramp “290 East Houston”. (Visual markers include a gas station complex on both sides of the road).
4. Take this exit to your right and proceed to continue on towards Houston on 290.
5. Proceed to Indian Paint Brush Road and turn left. Visual markers at intersection of State Highway 290 and Indian Paint Brush Road:
On the right – you will see a cluster of antique buildings with signs calling this cluster “Winkelmann, Texas’
On the Northeast quadrant of the intersection you will see a Veterinary Clinic .
6. Proceed North on Indian Paint Brush Road 1.8 miles to the stop sign at Old Chappell Hill Road. (You will see residences on all four quadrants of the intersection).
7. Turn right on Old Chappell Hill Road (East). Proceed 1.9 miles through one ‘S’ curve, over a concrete slab at a run-off point and through one last ‘S’ curve.
8. After the last ‘S’ curve, the first ‘T’ intersection is Pulawski School Lane. Turn left and proceed down the lane.
9. Follow ‘Wakefield Farms’ signs to 601 Pulawski School Lane and to the RED Electronic Security Gate.
11. Call 979.251.1459 to receive the Gate code.

FROM BRENHAM

1. Proceed towards Houston on Highway 290.
2 Proceed to Indian Paint Brush Road and turn left. Visual markers at intersection of State Highway 290 and Indian Paint Brush Road:

FROM BRYAN/COLLEGE STATION

1.Take State Highway 6 South out of College Station to Navasota approximately 16.7 miles .
2. Exit right at TX-6 Bus exit toward Navasota and head South.
3. At Washington Avenue (approximately 2.3 miles) and turn right onto Washington Avenue.
4. Head West on Washington Avenue/Highway 105 approximately 13.2 miles to Flewellen Road (on Left).
5. Turn left on Flewellen Road and head south approximately .3 miles to FM 2193.
6. Turn Left on FM 2193 to FM 1155 on Right (comes up quickly; proceed more slowly).
7. Turn Right on FM1155 and head south 7.3 miles to stop sign in downtown Chappell Hill.
8. Turn right at stop sign (FM 2447) and go west to first right-hand turn at bottom of hill (T-intersection of FM 2447 and Old Chappell Hill Road.
9. Head North on Old Chappell Hill Road.
10. Road Curves Left at Masonic Cemetary.
1. Count out 4 “S” curves (approximately 3 miles).
12. After 4th “S” curve, Pulawski School Lane comes up on the Right.
13. Turn Right and head North on Pulawski School Lane approximately 1 mile.
14. Gate and sign to Wakefield Farms is on the Right.
15. Call Innkeeper at 979-251-1459 for the gate code to the RED Electronic Security gate.

FROM DALLAS

1. Take Interstate 35 highway South out of Dallas.
2. Just North of Temple, take H.K. Dodgen Loop 4.5 miles to State Highway 36 South. Turn left beyond underpass and take ramp left to enter State Highway 36.
3. You will travel through several small towns Rogers, Cameron and Caldwell. Proceed on to Brenham.

FROM HOUSTON

1. From the West Loop take Highway 290 West towards Austin.
2. Travel approx. one hour to Chappell Hill intersection at Hwy. 290 and FM 1155 (First town past Hempstead).
3. Turn right at light and head north on 1155.
4. Go through downtown Chappell Hill to stop sign.
5. Turn left at stop sign (FM 2447) and go west to first right-hand turn at bottom of hill (T-intersection of FM 2447 and Old Chappell Hill Road.
6. Turn right (north) onto Old Chappell Hill Road and head north.
7. Follow road past Masonic Cemetery and continue across bridge.
8. Pass through 4 S-curves.
9. First right hand turn after last S-curve is Pulawski School Lane—turn right (north).
10. Follow ‘Wakefield Farms’ signs to 601 Pulawski School Lane and to the RED Electronic Security Gate.
11. Call 979.251.1459 for gate code to enter.

FROM SAN ANTONIO

1. Take Interstate Highway 10 East towards Houston.
2. At Sealy, take State Highway 36 North towards Brenham. (You will go through Bellville about mid-way to Brenham).
3. At Brenham, take the Highway 290 exit Right and Continue on Towards Houston on Highway 290.
4. FOLLOW ALL DIRECTIONS UNDER “FROM BRENHAM” FROM #1TO END OF THE LIST OF INSTRUCTIONS!
